As I stepped off the train in a modest Cotswolds village, the scent of fresh earth and blooming flowers knock me favor a wave, in an instant transporting me to a world of tranquility. I was on my way to meet friends at a secluded bed along with breakfast, nestled in the heart of an 18th-century garden that seemed to stretch on everlastingly. We strolled through the town, taking in the sights and sounds of the local culture, before retiring to the seven casino for a night of gaming and indulgence.

Our final destination was a stunning walled plot in North Yorkshire, hidden away in a secluded valley that seemed to exist in a society of its own. We spent hours exploring the tranquil pathways, admiring the vibrant flowers and shrubs that seemed to bloom in every shade of the rainbow, and taking in the soothing sounds of the nearby stream. As we sat in the sun-drenched plot, watching the butterflies flit about, I felt a profound sense of peace wash over me – a unblemished ending to our UK garden adventure.
